my partner took mnd and was diagnosed april 2015 and died september 2015 and for five weeks i nursed him at home and watched him fading away before my own eyes and there was nothing i could do, such a cruel disease i never want to witness that again in a hurry, but i know dessies in heaven, and this last 15 months has been a nightmare for me the lonliness, and emptiness , i just miss him so much as theres just me and the dog now. i pray that i will find peace, joy, contentment, and happiness someday, and that when i die i will see him again in heaven

I am sorry about your loved one and I pray that you find happiness within the life that is ahead. Find a way to embrace your new life. Volunteer, take classes, help others with their grief. I don't know you but I ma glad that you understand that there is a heaven which must mean you understand that there is a God. He is there with your loneliness and if you want him to He can sooth it. Pray for the guidance that will bring peace, joy , contentment, and happiness. Here are a few scriptures that might help you along the way.

Sincerely ps what is mnd?

AVB

Cast your burden upon the Lord , and He shal sustain you; He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22

The Lord is good a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knows them that trust Him. Nahum 1:7

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

MND is motor neurone disease and it attacks your muscles, and then you cant walk, or lift things, and your speech goes, and then you cant swallow and you choke a lot and eventually die in your sleep for you cant get a breath anymore, and there is no cure, and you dont get long once diagnosed, thank you for comforting words.

I am so very sorry. The speed with which MND progresses is shocking and frightening. One never gets over the loss of a loved one, but I hope someday you find a way to peace and even joy, as your partner would surely have wished for you. Sending you love, Easterncedar

So sorry to hear about your loss. It doesn't matter what our loved ones die with, its the loss that counts. Hope you find peace and contentment in the months to come. Thinking of you .

I am so very sorry. How does anybody recover from the loss of a loved one? I envy those who manage it. My husband is still alive but he's not the same man. He is starting with Dementia but nobody seems to notice apart from me! He is struggling to use his utensils and now eats with his hands if I am not there to help him! It is heartbreaking!
