My husband suddenly decided to stop taking Stalevo, so he did.
I was not prepared to fight over this one, so I let him. Has anyone any experience of this drug and what might happen when it is stopped. So far, we have had no problems. I didn't think it was helping anyway and the Parkinson's nurse wasn't sure. X
I've not heard of it....PSP does not respond to many things....any things....except love and patience....and getting that throw rug...and everything else out of the way!
From my understanding stavelo is cardo levodopa plus one other ingredient. My husband did stop taking without my and the dr knowing.....apparent no problems although think he gradually reduced. Not sure I would recommend........but ..it happened.....and no apparent side effects. He does not think it helps although did at first and he is very firm in wanting to be off of it.
