Not too late, Mr. Jones! Thanks! We are full of turkey and all good things, a little Australian wine, too! Sitting by the fire, snow falling outside, pumpkin pie with whipped cream coming up as soon as we have room. We are quite content!

Bunderbeg rum? What's that, I wonder? Well, I'm up early again, and off to try to prepare for my guy's son and his sweet family. We are having another feast today! Got the fire going here and my guy up and dressed. Have to chop some more wood for here, and start the bread, then must slog through the snow to get the old farmhouse habitable, empty mouse traps, clean up the scat, build a fire there and such. I have a feeling the daughter-in-law, courageous as she is, may revolt at the prospect of staying over, but that's what the son wants, so I will do my best! Don't I sound rugged? I'm leaving out all the whining I did when Mr. c insisted on getting up so early!
