I'm impressed Yvonne! There's no way I would fit into mine - I had a 22 inch waist in those days. I do still have it though carefully wrapped in the loft (the dress that is, sadly not the waist - I don't know where that went!).

Still have my dress wrapped and boxed in the attic, maybe I will try it on someday.

As to the dress, my first wedding, might be able to get into, if I put it on upside down, smocks were in fashion that year,(thank Goodness!) Second time, only 17years ago, fashion totally wrong, doubt if I could get my arm through the body now!!! So VERY, VERY impressed.
