Advice again please

Are UTI's a common thing with PSP, I've seen a lot of post about them

y es they are especially when ono able  to empty the bladder properly

Yes they are. There is several reasons that they have quite a few uti's. Inability to completely empty bladder....... not enough fluids and the main reason the bacteria has a tendency to multiply very quickly due to being incontinent. And we all know bacteria just loves warm damp places perfect breading ground.

Sorry yes but there is a solution more and regular fluid intake, not easy but one advantage of a PEG fluid intake can be increased if required.

Yes Debbie, unfortunately they are common and knock them out big time.

Someone on this site mentioned D-Mannose for UTIs. I bought some, but haven't used it yet. I gets great reviews online for clearing up UTIs.

Mum got a UTI a couple of months ago Mum was not aware she had the UTI - no pain or discomfort. - the neurologist told us they are common and can be very dangerous for PSP sufferers, he said it was likely they will increase in frequency and severity.
