Hi

Has anyone tried LifeVac (lifevac.net/) to help remove phlegm/saliva in case a PSP patient is choking?

Thanks

No but it looks interesting. I'm not sure how it would cope with phlegm and saliva. We have a suction machine. I'd be interesting in other's experiences of it though.

Interesting. I watched their video. I doubt it would help much unless something like food or some foreign object was lodged in the throat. Would be good for all restaurants to have one of these handy. And maybe daycare facilities. But for phlegm, I'd recommend a portable suction machine. We use ours almost daily now.
