Think Rose my sister has had it for about 4/5 years totally dependant now can't walk/talk feed herself think probably final stage, when she first started sinemet there was a remarkable difference until now and the last week or so there has been these changes that I mentioned! Just hope I am not being to hopefully as I know she won't get better. Thank you for your reply good luck.

Oh my goodness, Nannygoon, what a turnaround. Psp is the most unpredictable disease I know of. Yesterday my own sweetheart, after several weeks of steady decline, greeted me brightly at the door, and carried on conversation steadily through the evening. We went out for pizza and a movie. He was very unsteady on his feet, but used just me and a cane to get about. The ready access to his own vocabulary was a rare event, and I decided to relax and enjoy it. There has been no change in his meds, but he had PT in the morning. Usually that wipes him out, but he was energized, stayed awake through the movie (Mr. Turner, great movie, but not full of excitement.) and the drive home.

I hope you and your sister also have a good reprieve. Hold on. Love, Easterncedar

Thank you, it is amazing my Niece was visiting her today and sent me a picture on Facebook she is smiling, and was talking a little to!.Also the staff said she had shouted an answer out while watching a quiz programme! I am just going to enjoy it for the moment, best wishes to you and your sweetheart.xxx
