really valuable talk--I can imagine another talk, on things that make it harder to reconstruct identity (previous experience w/ illness and/or disability, being an abuse survivor, experiencing PC after breaking up with a partner, or having a partner leave during or even because of the PC, etc. etc. --I'm thinking here, as you could guess, from the patient's point of view, of various stories that surface here in the group as well as some of them in me. I liked his answer about being assertive to the doctor about who you are, etc. etc. (by the way I guess I was a part of that study. at least I think it's the one, there was a long interview.... nice to see such good use being made of it)
