Am I correct in assuming that no T-support -- either directly or "indirectly", i e. herbal etc -- should be used post-ADT of the risk of rising PSA?
I'm feeling grateful that my libido has survived radiation and hormone therapy. So, if the answer is a definitive "no", I'll be OK.
Depends on your specifics and how up to date your doctors are. Morgenthaler at Harvard has enlightened research about testosterone. Several good papers on line.
I had IGRT 15 years ago and have been on TRT every day since. PSA stable at <0.2 for years. But we all differ, YMMV.
Find a doctor or clinic which is aware of Morgenthaler's work, ask them to evaluate you.

How long has your PSA been low and stable after finishing ADT? The issue is that T will cause PSA to increase from benign causes, and you won't be able to distinguish a benign rise in PSA from a recurrence. If you can rule out recurrence due to convincingly stable PSAs, TRT should be no problem.
Just now finished 18 months of ADT. So that would mean at least waiting for how long a period to determine PSA stability? A year?
In Sept my PSA was <.09.
I have no idea how long it will take for your PSAs to become stable after your T levels have returned.

Hi Handdrummer I would be very happy with your PSA,I am also on ADT and hate it for all the reasons you all know about, my last PSA was 39 and hence the reason for me to be back ,I am in the UK and it would seem that in the US doctors try for a cure,here they try to keep you alive ,as in previous discussions once you have had RT and HIFU and it`s failed, the prospect of being cured is limited ,and the possible side effects bad.
