just spoke with my urology nurse consultant, my PSA is now 0.05, looks like the hormone treatment is working, looking like radiotherapy will start April/ May, I’ve got a personal trainer sorted out and a diet plan, and the effects of the hormone injection have eased, so I’m feeling positive

I don't know your history but it sounds like you are doing well. Why "schedule" radiation if it's not needed?

Hi, I had a radical prostectomy 18 months ago, my PSA gradually increased from 0.05 to 0.18 , so I was referred to the oncologist who put me on hormones and said I should have radiotherapy to treat the cancer cells causing the rising PSA,

Yea that all sounds good. The diet you speak of: Be sure to ask the Radiologist if there is anything you should not eat (curcumin etc.)

That's great news. The hormone treatment helped my husband with his PSA levels. My husband can't have the radiotherapy, because he was previously diagnosed with CLL 6 years ago, and because he's in remission they don't want to interfere with his blood cells.
