Testosterone jell and PSA

My brother is using testosterone jell on his shoulder. Can using this jell mask his actual PSA level?

It doesn't mask PSA, but it may cause PSA to increase.

Do you mean Androgel? i used it for six years at a low dose. Decided to go quit turkey because of the insurance hassle and declining effectiveness. three years later had prostate cancer. So it either masks cancer, or quitting caused the cancer. If he's been on it awhile, maybe its better never to quit. If he just started, maybe he should reconsider
