Any signs of your loved ones shortly after their death? That maybe they hung around for a bit before finally resting? My dad died around 3 weeks ago and I'm really lost in thought about "self" and if anything survives the physical body.

When I left my dad’s wife’s house after the funeral home had taken his body, I decided to sit in his car for a minute, so the car’s courtesy lights came on. I said out loud, “ Dad, where are you now?” ...and an additional courtesy light came on....and hasn’t come back on since. It’s been almost 2 months since dad’s death. Definitely understanding the wish to hear something, anything, from the other side. Hope you and your mom are hanging in there okay.

Yes. Several weeks after my husband passed away from CRPCa. My first night home alone after spending Christmas holiday with out I’d state family.

The night was cold but the sky was clear with stars shining and no prediction of snow. I went to bed - but next thing I remember was standing at the bedroom window with my husband watching it snow. Arms around each other, my head on his shoulder, he was healthy and strong again. No words spoken. I just enjoyed feeling his arms around me. In the morning when I got up and looked out the yard was covered with a blanket of snow.

I truly believe in an afterlife.

My cousin's husband died a few years ago. This anniversary of his death she felt a sign..It came this way. He used to sing a song that is not a common song to sing. It was a song from the 30's by a hillbilly blues type singer so, it was significant that the day before his anniversary it was on the radio but not by the singer he used to talk about. On the day of his anniversary, what popped up on her facebook page was from a public radio station she listens to.. there was a photo of the singer he loved and the song.. For sure she felt it was a sign from him...
