Seeing anyone until 16 weeks pregnant

Has this happened to anyone else? When I found i was pregnant roughly 5 weeks I called the doc to refer me and was told to call next week. So I did and got referal. Then didnt hear anything until I called today now 10ish weeks was told my first appointment wont be until the 22nd of October then I'll be 16 weeks! For the first time ill see anyone? This will be my 2nd baby. Any insight would be really appreciated feeling like I'm being left behind.

I think you need to be seen before 14 weeks if you want to having the early screening done x

Thank you for replying. Things were much different with my daughter it was all go from i went to the doctors. I guess i am in a different town now and covid!

Usually booking appt is around 8-11 weeks and first scan between 11+2 and 14+2. (For screening as PP said)

Then either phone call or face to face at 16 weeks. And scan at 20.

I'd call your GP or local community midwives and demand to be seen. Even with covid that's not acceptable xx
