Today I attended an art class run by Goldster. We were meant to draw a picture of Table Mountain from a photograph. I did a value sketch, however, as a basis for a painting. I know I will never paint it, but the experience was good.

I really could recommend Goldster, no matter what age you are. They have all manner of classes (meditation, tai chi, exercises, Indian cooking, and many more). They also have a free 30 day trial.

I liked how it turned out too, Jerry. I think my sketching skills are improving -- after watching countless Youtube tutorials!

This is extremely wonderful and I really enjoy how the sky has the shading of gray in it. Thank you for posting it for us. :-)

This is a 'table mountain' in miniature BrentW and very skillfully observed and sketched. Your shading is spot on!

I wouldn’t paint it . Looks good as sketch . Sort of sultry and hazy .
