This evening....well technically 'last' evening- I'm writing this a 12:30 am....I cooked a lovely Honey Glazed Gammon Piece. It can from Iceland (the Store...I didn't travel to the Country!) it came as 'Deal', with Meat Balls and Buttered Chicken.
I did Mashed Potato (technically 'creamed', because I added milk & butter) and had some mixed peppers, I had already. The meat is 'supplied' with a gravy/ sauce, that you poor over- during cooking- but I added 'bit' more stock. The result was Beautiful and between myself, and 'Neighbour' Mike, we finished the lot😋😋😀.
I Didn't cook it exactly, as 'they' say- I foiled it for the first half an hour, before turning it over. I had the oven a bit Hotter too.... but then I know 'my own' cooker!
I just Got Out, three smallish chicken breasts, for tomorrow's dinner... I'm going to 'do' my 'Black Treacle & Rosemary' dish. I have give, this recipe, before but if anyone Wants it gain then please PM me.

I am sure that 30 minutes after midnight is 00.30 hrs not 12.30 hrs 12.30 is 30 minutes after midday not that it makes any difference to anyone as I think just about everyone would know what you meant, its just military or ex military who have used the 24 hour clock will notice it.
It looks like you are much more adventurous in your cooking than I am almost all of my meals are frozen ready meals that I put in the microwave and the odd pepperoni pizza I put in the oven and the same as you I know my oven does not produce enough heat so most items that I put in I put the oven on the highest setting which is only gas number 7 so if it tells me to use gas 5 for 15 minutes I put it on gas 7 for 18-20 minutes, I do not invite anyone into my home as I have so much stuff ( or junk as everyone calls it) there is just enough space for me to walk/shuffle between it all I like to build radio control models but I tend to buy parts/kits faster than I put them together also I have a few hydraulic operated construction machines with nowhere else to park them I have a 20 Kg excavater a 22 Kg wheeled loader and a 25Kg bulldozer I use them around the bungalow to keep the weeds down they are around the front room as I am not up to lifting them on to shelves or in to cupboards due to my back being broken in 4 places along with both of my hip's and both of my knees need replacing but I have been putting off replacing them as the surgeon I saw about them told me if I can stand the pain to put them off replacing them for 12 to 18 months as they can only replace them 3 times at the most but twice is normal and that was when I was 48 at the time he said that he had never seen anyone my age with joints as bad so I have put off replacing them from when I was 48 and I am now 67 and I doubt they have the time to do them this year so with luck it will be next year and I will be 68 so 20 years putting of having them replaced, please keep putting up your meals on here whilst I will never manage to cook them it gets my mouth watering thinking of them the only cooked meals I get are when I go round to my ex on a Sunday each week.

Sorry I waffled on so long but I seldom see anyone from one month to the next.
As regards my use of '12:30am' it IS correct, using a Twelve Hour Clock System. 00:30 is using the Twenty Four hour System, as you would have done, in the Forces. 'am' and 'pm' are short for Ani-Meridian and Post-Meridian respectively, ordinarily written in the Lower Case.
Please don't think, that I'm 'berating' you for not knowing this, the Military are sometimes a bit 'at odds'- with the Man On The Street.
I'm sorry that you are, very clearly, Lonely- or, at least, 'Missing' Company. If you wish you can P(rivate) M(essage) me or, 'Talk' on here- if you prefer. Either way I Look Forward, to 'hearing' from you.
Poppy Ann are you in England, A lot of charities do a phone chat to lonely people. I call people to try to stop them feeling isolated, I wonder if you are in England. I could put you in contact with the charity, if you would like.

Hi Andrew sounds lovely for gammon eaters I used to be a cook and used to have to boil it in pan it stank I hate smell of pork that's me tho a flexiterian lol used to be vegetarian I use benecol buttery lowers cholestrol butter so bad Andrew for that taistes as good glad you enjoyed it have you tried ready cooked chicken scewers from farmfood shod do in ice land, I worked with a lady one when I the plant greenhouses she said used to work in Iceland thought meant freezer shop she said it was Iceland lol 😁🤗
Yes I remember THOSE! I had some once, a few years ago now, that needed to be Both Boiled and then Baked... so they were, quite literally, 'Half Baked'......
