The inefficiency of the green/blue masks are well known in science and engineering & yet my son who was told to remove the white N95 mask he was wearing and has done since day one but with regular changes of course, and put on a green blue so called surgical mask on when he went for his first vaccination.
He was attending the biggest venue in Nottingham which was the ITV studios on Lenton Lane for that first vaccination.
The fact is that he was told to do a ridiculous manoeuvre and put a mask on that was approximately 20% less efficient than the white N95 mask on that he was wearing for protection of both himself and those around him.
Whoever has conjured up this new stupidity should be ashamed of themselves and they should be publicised in the fact that they do not know what they are instructing in a technical capacity.
On the news this morning those who are more intelligent ,experienced and have the expertise to know better are calling for all health workers to be issued with better masks. This instructing of the wearing of inferior masks must be down to finance only and not the ultimate protection of the valuable people that have worked so hard to help others, many of whom have been 'at death's door' and many who have succumbed to that terrible virus which is covid 19.

Just to finally give you and idea of what is going on
