Something to think about.......

1. The daftest thing I ever bought was a 2020 planner diary!

2. Good Advice? In 2019: “Stay away from negative people”, But in 2020: “Stay away from positive people”.

3. The world has turned upside down. Old people are sneaking out of the house & their kids are yelling at them to stay indoors!

4. This morning I saw a neighbour talking to her cat. It was obvious she thought her cat understood her. I came into my house & told my dog. We laughed a lot.

5. Every few days, try your jeans on just to make sure they fit. Wearing pyjamas will have you believing all is well in the world.

6. Does anyone know if we can take showers yet - or should we just keep washing our hands?

7. This virus has done what no woman has been able to do. Cancel sports, shut down all bars & keep men at home!

8. I never thought the comment, “I wouldn’t touch him/her with a bargepole” would become a national policy, but here we are!

9. I need to practice social distancing - from the refrigerator.

10. I hope the weather is good tomorrow for my trip to the dustbins. I’m getting tired of the Lounge.

11. Appropriate analogy?: Sage saying "The curve is flattening so we can start lifting restrictions now” is like saying “The parachute has slowed our rate of descent, so we can take it off now.”

12. Never in a million years could I have imagined I would go up to a bank counter wearing a mask, asking for money.

13. The spread of COVID-19 is based on 2 things:

a) How dense the population is.

b) How dense the population is

The implication is that dogs are more literate/communicative than cats! My late wife's cousin had a succession of pedigree oriental cats - and then he thought he should "do the right thing" and take on a moggy from a cat rescue centre - and he said he just could not have an intelligent conversation with it!

My Main Coon (my avatar) was not allowed upstairs - but (within a week or two of us meeting) when my late wife was ill, I thought I should look after her. I could not leave my cat and move in with her (look after number one), so I collected her, left her at my house and carried on with my day (I was driving a charity mini-bus that day). Jaffa looked after her - and scurried downstairs when he heard my car coming home!

Brilliant. And so much of it is true😁🐰

Haha S11m! It's amusing but also contains some words of wisdom. My 2020 planner, completely empty, has just been repurposed as an art journal! 🤣
