Hello everyone, will you all please say a little prayer for our 8 year old Great Granddaughter whose name is Ava. She is very i'll with the Coronaviru's. Our Grandson rang us up to see how I was getting along after my OP. As he was talking to my Hubby he was called away urgently. Our Ava, π¦π¦.We are waiting to find out if, when or what. We don't know what to do with ourselves.. Surely God won't take our Ava. She's such a beautiful ,darling little girl. When she's here with me and I'm not too good .She'ΔΊl say to me.( It's alright Nannie, I'll be quiet and you can have some peace ".So I shut my eyes and pretend to be asleep. A few seconds later I'll open my eyes and I'm looking Into her big brown eyes . She'll stay alongside me as quiet as a mouse. She's a little darling. She has long thick dark brown hair and she is so pretty. I haven't seen her for a couple of months because of the Lockdown and the Self isolation. If God has to take someone ,why not someone like me. I've had my life, but our Avas has only just started. Perhaps God is reading this and will spare our beautiful little Great Granddaughter. I bet my Grandson is tearing down the. motorway to get to her. Our 10yr old grand got covid earlier in the summer and we were all so frightened. The family was also tested and none showed positive. He recovered easily but the fear and unknowing was great for us all.

God, as so many loved ones have been taken this year 2020, it has been a very difficult and perilous time right now. There are so much painnand sorrow surrounding us every day. The only thing we can do is hold on to your word that you will never forsake us, never leave us when we are low and hurting. We look to you for comfort and peace because all that is going on around us, we will never understand the reason some of us are spared and some of us have to go. How is Ava today? Tilly was so ill back in March we thought she had it. She has no speech. Her temperature was in the 40s and we had her hospital bag packed in case it brought on her epilepsy but industrial amounts of nurofen and Calpol helped xx
Have been trying to get hold of Ava's Dad on the phone. But we are not getting any reply. His phone is switched off. Now we are getting worried..If there's any change, will let you know. So glad that Tilly pulled through. I prayπ to God that our Princess Ava will too. .xx

BaΕΊzak, good news. Grandson just rang us up. Our Princess Ava is improving, Our Kyle spoke to her again last night. She's weak and still coughing, so Kyle did all the talking. He still can't see her, but he said the main thing that " Daddy loves you and can't wait to see you soon ".. Oooh, gotta get the tissues out again. Crying with happiness now though. I know that she's not out of the woods yet, but she's getting there. Our Princess Ava's a strong little girl. She's like her Nannie Glo. Little but strong willed . Tell you what was really strange, I was out walking when I read your message that Ava was getting better, and at that precise moment the three spitfires and the hurricane flew directly overhead commemorating the battle of Britain it was like they were celebrating Ava !!π

The only way I come to terms with that is just to trust that their is a bigger picture that I cannot know in my littleness and maybe just your posting this and having so many wonderful replies adding positivity to the world was necessary. But earlier on today we had a phone call to tell us that our Ava is showing signs of picking up. Please keep prayingπ for her as she's been through such a lot, for such a little girl. I'm so glad that I posted on here, so much Love and prayers πare being said for our Ava. We will stay strong and courageous like you said. It's because of people like you that have kept me going. You should only be well and content in this world of changing messages. It is hard to keep one's equilibrium in our world today, isn't it? Ava needs all our positivity as do all the children and adults who are ill or awaiting treatment of all sorts. What a mixed up world we live in. I was crying before as a friend of mine just lost her husband to cancer aged 64. And I'm being troubled by the vision of his father aged 97 walking behind the coffin to bury a son. Thankyou Richard1962, you have a good Heart. This is such a cruel World.. I had a Brother that only lived for 2 days. My Mum had another little Baby Boy that was stillborn .I had another Brother that was 12 years older than me. He was in the Army, in the Royal Welsh Fusiliers, he got killed when he was only 24 years old. My Mum never got over the loss of him. My cousin had a little Boy that passed away with meningitis just 2 days before his 3rd Birthday. He would have been the same age as our youngest Son. I could go on and on. I have only been out of hospital myself a few weeks after having Abdominal Surgery. They thought that I had Pancreatic Cancer, but it wasn't that. My Mum passed away with Pancreatic Cancer and I had exactly the same things wrong with me as what my Mum had. I told the Surgeon if it was cancer, to just let me go and give me good pain relief . I've been housebound for nearly 6 years with continuouse pain., they have told me that they can't do anything else for me. My Hubby of 57 years is my carer. He does everything, washing, cooking, cleaning and shopping simply everything. Then when our Ava was taken ill, my World seemed to be falling apart. But now our little Sweetheart Ava πΈ is on the mend. Thank God . But my Hubby is not well himself. He's lost such a lot of weight and he's in a lot of pain. He has to have an urgent Sigmoidoscopy on Friday. He only saw his GP last week,and he had a Telephone call from the hospital a few days later, so they must be worried about him. As am I. I've already told our Son's that if anything happens to their Dad, there will be a double Funeral. I couldn't go on without him. I believe in God. But just lately I'm beginning to question my own Faith . Why,Oh ,Why do we have to have all this heartache and pain. They say that everything happens for a reason. What reason I'd like to know. ???? But at least our Beautiful AvaπΈ is on the mend now .I thank God for that. π.Everyone have been marvellous on here. I don't know what I would have done without them. Hi KB47, I am in no way a spiritual advisor but I hear how heavy your heart is at the moment and I pray that you can dig deep into yourself to find positivity about the world and every situation in which we find ourselves. It takes a lot of work but a gratitude diary seems to help a lot of people. It sounds like you have to live with a lot of pain and that you are also carrying your mother's pain from the loss of her children. When I get low, I try to think for 5 solid minutes (mindfully to use a modern word) of all the good things to be grateful for. Yes, there is a lot of pain in our lives and things that seem terrible happen. I am so glad that Ava is on the mend and that will definitely be part of my gratitude time for today. I have been blessed with 8 amazing children and a wonderful husband but frankly, I do not always think they are amazing and I do not always think he is wonderful. (I could tell you a few things...lol). I'm so glad that you aren't suffering from pancreatic cancer as that is a hard gift to accept with love. At the moment I am working on the concept of acceptance and internalising it. I read somewhere that life IS a bed of roses, we just have to avoid the thorns!
Wow, 8 Children. You sure have your hands full. π€² π .We have 3 Sons, 4 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. Our youngest Granddaughter is having a Baby Boy in November. Making it 10 Great Grandchildren. I know children are hard work , but we wouldn't be without them. I know that we have a lot to be grateful for. I'm so grateful that our beautiful little Ava πΈ is on the mend..Oh well,it's gonna be a while before I can give her a CWTCH.. From 6pm tomorrow Newport is on Lockdown again. I've tried Mindfulness and therapy with music, but it doesn't help. I'm in too much pain all the time.. Yes I read somewhere about, Life being a bed of roses. But trying to pick them,you can't avoid the thorns. I'm wondering how that saying was meant to be taken. The Roses are beautiful. Hmmm. But the thorns. π‘π₯΅π’. β£xx.
I'm so happy that Ava is on the mend and very excited that you have more joyful events to look forward to. Yes, 8 is a handful but my youngest is already 13 and three are married and I have 4 grandchildren. Yes, it is lovely and I am very grateful although it isn't always easy and each one brings challenges that I don't feel prepared for. But love stretches. Hi richard1962. When our Eldest Son knew that he was gonna be a Grandad he couldn't believe it. Our Eldest Son is 57 in November. Our Middle Son is 55 in November and our Youngest Son is 50 in November. Our GP used to laugh, because John's Birthday is in February. ( Get it ). πππ .Thankyou for adding a prayer for John as well. He needs it. He had his INR done last week. It was too low. He had it done today and it was too high. He has to have it done again on Thursday and if it's not right then, they will have to cancel his procedure. But he still has to take the medication that they gave him for 2 days before he has to have it done. Oooh, nothing is easy is it. ??? He,s got a massive Incitional Hernia in his stomach from an operation that he had done 12 years ago. He needs a repair urgently. But he's worried about. me being on my own when he's in hospital. I'm on an emotional Rollercoaster. x
The birthdays are funny!! Your husband's health must be such a concern. Will someone be able to move in with you or you move in with one of the children whilst he is in hospital? It all sounds so complicated but treatment has moved on even in the last few years (except seemingly with this dreadful virus). It is emotional isn't it? I know I feel weak and faint when any close family need treatment and when my husband needed an operation earlier this year I was completely unfocused until I could have him home again.

Hi , no one else in the Family has it. My Grandson was working away when he rang us. But he had a call on the work's phone. That's when he had to rush off. As far as we know our little Ava either picked it up in School or out playing. She could have even picked it up while out shopping with her Mum. I'm sorry I can't help you, but she could have picked it up anywhere. Some pupils of our Ava's school had the symptoms of the Virus. Now they have been told to close the School. Newport High School is also closed because of the Virus. Just found out that we are on Lockdown again, as from 6pm tomorrow .It really is a worrying time. The Little ones do seem to be able to get over it easier.But not all of them. I thank God that our Darling Ava is on the mend. Thankyou for your kind wishes. You and your Son Stay Safe. xx
