Malmal
Malmal in reply to Dogmad600

Ok, so would it help if you got in touch with someone at college that you could talk to about your worries ahead of going back?

Malmal in reply to Dogmad600

I feel that it would be worth confiding in someone, have you spoken to your GP about how you're feeling?

Dogmad600
Dogmad600 in reply to Malmal

Yes and starting counselling next week

Malmal
Malmal in reply to Dogmad600

Well that's a step forward anyway, can you pinpoint a reason for your anxieties?

Bullying

Malmal
Malmal in reply to Dogmad600

Bless you, how I feel for you! I'm sure that counselling will be a tremendous help, don't know if you've been bullied at school or later on in life but I do know that nows your opportunity to show your nasty bullies that you're a better stronger person than them! I really wish you the very best of everything xx

Mydexter
Mydexter in reply to Dogmad600

There we are no point in worrying now then , as you say just see what happens , it'll all work out for the best I'm sure

What is your favorite animal. what was your first ever pet that you remember. Do you have a pet now. Have you looked at any of the free apps you can download to help with anxieties and depression. No matter what walk of life you are in, or frame of mind, it is always helpful to be open minded, where there is always the possibility of options. 😊

Why are you worrying my tip is not to look at the news take up a hobby or go out for a nice long walk if you can I have stopped listening to the news spent less time on my iPhone I made myself feel worse by watching all the news I just keep myself updated what I need to know hope this helps you .

Covid and going back to college on Wednesday also bullying feel better today

That’s good glad you are feeling better going back to college stay safe

In my experience, bullies are very insecure people with weird boundaries and are often narcissistic and feed off drama.

If being subtly confrontational is too scary, 'I think the way we are handling our difference of opinion could make us both look bad!' being stoic is probably the next best thing. These people are like wave machines and they do their best to get some kind of reaction to make the other party slip up.

I recommend counselling and possibly subscribing to a good channel for narcissistic abuse survival. Dr Ramani is lovely.

HLAB35
HLAB35 in reply to Dogmad600

That's really good to hear.

Just remember, bullies are weird and deep down know they're weird and if you are reasonable and strong around them, most of them will lose interest.

Dogmad600
Dogmad600 in reply to HLAB35

Yes true

You are not alone in this. To a greater or lesser extent , admit it or not we all suffer form anxiety. no one thing is likely to be a solution. Suggest throwing the bucket at it.

Ideas:

Praying.

Journalling, putting thoughts, fears, frustrations, anything down on paper may help.

Exercise, any kind, waking, swimming, whatever, even in tiny amounts.

Web resources, blogs, podcasts.

Reading.

And all the aforementioned.

Medication may be needed, hopefully not. Expensive, comes with side effects and complications.

Do Pray you can get some relief.

Try to read some of the writings of Julian of Norwich. I think that you will find some comfort and peace.

I read somewhere, if you cannot sleep to leave your worries up to God because He is up all night anyway.

He created you, He loves you, He keeps you.

Will do thanks

Me too, in the past I’ve read a book all day. I get so engrossed in It Sometimes takes me Into the story.

Focus on:

5 things you can see

4 things you can feel

3 things you can hear

2 things you can smell

1 thing you can taste

Also deep diaphragmatic breathing from the gut. Slow and steady.

Take a walk, listen to music, TV, meditate,

My best. You'll get through this 🎶😊🌅♥️🌈🙌🍁

Those really help

If you are a believer, here are some scriptures...Proverbs 12:25 Anxiety in a man's heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad. 1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Philippians 4:6-7 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

Check my profile for some silly but effective tips that work for me. I just never remember to do them!

I love all those animals -particularly donkeys . My mum had a cat when she was young & my late nana had a black lab called Robbie -he was beautiful

Depending on where you live, find a recreational activity you like to do. Me I've taken to fishing and bike rides. Can't do either right now because of bad air quality. Also keep in mind that we are alive and 🙏🏾🙏🏻🙏🏼🙏 hope you can get over your worries, I believe we've all been through this.

hi, hope you are feeling better. When I feel worried like what I think you are saying this is something inside of you in general not about a certain thing. This is where you need to find piece within your self. Some times a friend and etc. can help but in the end only yourself can get you through this when you find that enter piece. I turn to god and ask if he will help me and carry this sadness for me and it always help. We need to remember that god is our best friend and he may answer in a way that you didn't think about he will answer just listen.

To chill out try the Meditation app Chakra. It's fantastic and aids your sleep. I do it every night. Good luck. 😎

I have family, and friends that struggle with depression :( . I do hope/ pray you will feel better soon. I rarely get down, but when I do I watch funny vidoe's/T.V. :) . I also will Iisten to my favorite music and dance around like a crazy maniac, because no ones watching :| . I bet if you try these you will feel better :) :|
