Picking Up Your Life

Hey Y’all & Happy Sunday ☀️

Well, it’s been one tough week, but I’m pretty sure you’ve learned some lessons. I’ve learned that our lives can’t be picked or navigated by other people. We’re just like fresh apples on a tree as we wait to fall into grace or be picked up by someone who sees beyond our faults. Later in life, some of us will improve and learn coping mechanisms. Then there’s the bad apples, who discourages us going forth and doing great things (Disclaimer: They will not go into any apple pies). Then there’s us, who are we?

Who are you? The Good or Bad apple?

Having just learned some bad news, I’m thinking tomorrow will revolve around pizza, cupcakes and trashy old movies on Netflix.

Thara, I’m sorry for responding so late. Listen, it’s okay to experience grief, but remember you are the “Good” apple.

I try to be a good apple, although folk may find the odd bruise!

Midori, it’s okay to be bruised, but you can always be washed and refreshed to go inside the apple pie 🥧 🙂.

I am an equal parts sweet & sour apple who has survived the challenges life has brought my way. I am perfectly imperfect, and still standing by GOD'S grace, and mercy :)

RLN-overcomer, we’re all made equally. Knowing and admitting your current situation is a great step.

Thank you so much Jerry and I apologize for the delayed response. How are you feeling?

That’s a great way to look at it Jerry.
