I visited the Maze Maze in Cornwall today, first time I've been, and I was very impressed with the way in which they are operating the attraction. The staff were so lovely. They had some donkeys, Llamas, goats, pigs and hens there as well.
The maze was awesome and was made up using a growing crop of sweetcorn, good job it wasn't ready, bit early yet, otherwise I may have been tempted

Sounds nice Alicia, hope it wasn't as hot today where you live! Here it was boiling, in work and outside! It hit 37°C when I left for home! Home cool bath, stay in shade, curtains drawn and ceiling fan on! And had some cooling strawberry ice-cream!
So hope it gets cooler! Not made for hot weather any more 🏖️
It was thank you. It was very hot at times but fortunately not all the time as the cloud came over from time to time, I was covered in sunscreen anyway. I should imagine you needed a cool bath with the fan on. What an excellent excuse for ice cream, can't think of anything better.
I actually love the heat, I don't like the cold at all. I'm made for Spring and Summer and can cycle in the heat as well. I have to say I think the perfect temperature is around 22 to 24.

Since my heart attack, I find heat too much! Heart has to work harder when it's hot Alicia! I used to love it, but now have to avoid it being in the hot sun!
May be I should live in cooler climates like Norway, haha 😃

I can perfectly understand that and if you have a condition it can be much harder. Our little granddaughter can find it hard in the heat, she does sweat a lot and struggle sometimes when it's hot. She has JIA and it's probably the medication, she gets tired easily as well but to make up for it is feisty though so makes up for it😂.
What about Iceland ha ha. My dad went to Iceland when he was alive and working on the cable ships, he loved the life.

JIA is Idiopathic Juvenile Arthritis and she has mainly Uveitus which is inflammation in her eyes but it started in her joints.

I have heard of this maze in Cornwall, I have always wanted to go, I believe it is quite a large and complex maze. The pictures are great. You must of had a lovely fun day there today and it's so special having these times with the family. 😊🌞🌼🌸
It's really good Bobby, it's made up using loads and loads of sweetcorn plants, they've done so well creating it. It really is special, the grandchildren are growing up far too fast.😊🌞🙏🌱🌈🌳

What a lovely way to spend a day out with your family. Sounds as if it was great!
I haven't s heard of a maze made this way before. Old established mazes took a very long time to grow. I assume this may have been the reason this unusual one was designed as it would grow in months so be ready for the visitors. How exciting, but I wonder what will happen when the corn goes over. Maybe start a new maze next year!

I would assume the corn is harvested and sold but I was told by my daughter that Halloween is the end of the season for the maze.

Me too but it’s just normal fir summertime in the south. It may. Oil down some because of the hurricane headed to Florida and up the east coast.
So sorry about your health issues. Glad to read you have them mostly under control. I’m sure the exercising helps a lot.
Our daughter with PD is exercising more and I really think it’s helping her a lot.
She seems to be walking better and mental attitude is better. The doc told her last week that she didn’t know if any other meds to give her and that exercise was most important. She can’t bike outside but does ride onecwhen she was going to the gym. Since the covid-19 she is just walking in her subdivision and doing some other exercises from YouTube videos.

Thank you and the IBS is much better because I'm following the low fodmap diet, the problem I have now is thickening of the skin and it's really itchy which drives me nuts. I'm under the hospital though but waiting for an appointment, COVID has slowed that down.
Exercise helps me so much, what is PD?
Your daughter sounds like she's doing very well with the exercise, It's so good for mental health as well as physical conditions.

Sorry about your skin condition and hopefully you won’t have to wait tooo long for an appt.
I’m nervous about my daughter catching the virus and being in the hospital, by herself, and suffering when she is already compromised.....I pray a lot!

I should have guessed really as my dad had that but for your daughter to have it is far too young at 53, that's awful for her and my heart goes out to her.
You don't expect to have to care for your children at all. That's really good to keep her mind active as that's so good for the brain.
I'm glad she's doing better and prayer is so good along with meditation, bless her.
Oh honestly, it's driving me nuts but it's nothing in comparison to what your daughter has.
Prayer is a very good thing and my mum was a born again Christian and prayer helped her a lot through her life. I had an awful brother and my mum coped by praying.

Lovely photos. My Dartmoor cousin said it was 18c at 6pm there so not tremendous heat of the south east. Mid 30s and ghastly as so humid. Could take it when living in Madrid 45 years ago, but no more!! Lovely today.
Thank you. Yes the weather cooled down quite a bit towards late afternoon yesterday. I do not like it at all when it's humid but when it's what I call proper sun heat then that's absolutely fine.
It's been a lot cooler here today and more cloud around but dry.
