Tip: Once a day, identify a highlight from your day - something that felt good in some way. (The idea, which I like, is that focusing on a highlight doesn't demand that you stress trying to do "better"... just pay attention to whatever went best, however large or small.)
For me, my first day's highlight was feeding the horses. They're always so cheerful about being fed!

That's lovely. I always try to find things to be grateful for and find the pleasure in the so called small things in life and it becomes your way of thinking.
That's really a fantastic technique Wallowa and something that could potentially really foster positivity. I know from all your posts how much you love the horses and it's always so cheering to be with anything and anyone who or which is welcoming and pleasant!🌈🐎😊
I read that there was a scientific study done that found that if you do this right before you go to sleep, it is proven to raise your mood the next day. It even worked for people with clinical depression. 🙂🌸
Great to know!
