We are so fortunate in this country as we are still able to go out once a day for exercise, do our shopping and visit a pharmacy but I do understand that there are people that can't go out and my daughter is one of them as my youngest granddaughter has JIA (Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis) and her condition affects her eyes. My daughter can't risk taking her out for exercise because of the drugs she's only but they are staying very upbeat and we speak to them every day and sometime sype call them so we can see them. Her hubby is able to buy the provisions so that's good.
Anyway, back to another beautiful day, I walked around the coast again today (I live by the sea) and walked 19580 steps which I'm pleased about.

Beautiful! Walking in places like that are simple joys that cost nothing. Some of us are very lucky. I live in a village in the country and fairly close to the sea and I am so grateful. What part of the UK are these places you photograph? The coastline looks similar to the Welsh coast in South Wales where I live.

Oh Alicia, the South Hams are very special to me. When my husband was alive we used to stay in the village of Torcross each year. I have wonderful memories of times spent there and the surrounding area. Dartmouth was also special as my family had a lovely restaraunt there. Thank you so much.
I'm a recent immigrant to Wales, I live in Pembrokeshire. The police are keeping us away from beaches and Coastal paths, because there are holidaymakers around here.
Hi, Glad to meet you. What part of Pembrokeshire are you living?. I have spent so much time there over the years. As a child I had family in Tenby and regularly spent holidays with them. Later on, my husbands job allowed us to explore so much of this beautiful part of the world. We loved the coastal walks and little villages off the beaten track.. You say you are an immigrant to Wales. Where did you immigrate from?
It's such a small world and the virus is everywhere. Are you coping with the regulations of self isolating?

How are you coping with the lock down? I live in a village so can see horses passing by my window. Also the occasional person walking to the village shop for their newspapers.
I am catching up household chores, well overdue. I occasionally go a short trip out in my car to watch the lambs frolicking in a field. I do a walk while there so feel more energised when I get home. I am looking forward to pottering in the garden when the weather gets warmer. I am abiding by the rules and am just so grateful for what I have.
How are you spending your time? Do you have any hobbies that help yo pass time?

I had a short 4 mile walk today round the neighborhood and the local parks.

Yesterday I was tempted to have stayed on the couch as it was the time of the month but what I did was told myself that a short walk for half hour was better than no walk at all so decided I would just do half hour yesterday and got off the couch and went out and I wanted to keep on after the half hour as I was feeling loads better and then it was a 4 mile walk instead of half hour originally planned.
Today I have done 6 miles which I enjoyed and it's different not having the usual Saturday traffic on the roads here and no way am I going near any supermarkets unless I am really really in need of them as for now I can make do with what's in the cupboards for food.
What a fantastic attitude! You are finding the simple things of life make us happy and more contented. Yes, we should all be questioning ourselves... do I really need that?, Or......Yes, I can manage, its not that important!
We woudlnt go to pharmacy, shop or for exercise or whatever if you paid us. Its the possibility of catching the virus that puts us off. We are very odd people. We prefer the idea of still being alive in five years time.
Fortunately our doctor's surgery dispenses medicines and they are doing this through a small window at the front so you're nowhere near them.
When I'm out walking I have a lot of space to myself so I'm fortunate that there isn't much of a risk, if I meet anyone its across a road or up or down a path.

UK looks lovely. When this is over, I’d like to plan a trip there with my husband. I’d spend at least a month there walking in different localities and taking in the landscape. I love the views of the countryside. Thanks for posting.
