What's anyone done today

I had a short walk to post some letters, I've dusted.most of my living room, and ornaments still got a bit more to do, then when that's done I need to tackle the bedroom, didn't get around to doing the washing, but there's always tomorrow, otherwise been fairly quiet here, also thinking of having a Friday treat, maybe chip shop lunch save me cooking, can also get bits of food shopping at the same time

We had a FaceTime call with our daughter and grandsons. Our daughter in law stood outside with our granddaughter and waved.

I’ve changed our bed and dusted upstairs. I’ll find more cleaning to do tomorrow.

Stay well Jennymary xxxx

Great sassy59, nearly as good as the real thing! I'm so pleased you were able to do that.

I have absolutely no energy today. While I have been able to get out at least once per day for the past few days, I am really exhausted today. I have things I could do, but i think this whole thing is really getting to me today. I just cannot get started. I did open all the blinds to let the sun in, but I can't do anything else. I'm afraid the depression might set in soon. I'm trying not to let it, but there's always at least one day a week (usually Sundays) that are just so long and frustrating. And now with this whole social distance thing, I am craving some company. Writing this post is the most I have done today. But I am hoping that by at least doing this, I will be able to start doing some other things. ❤❤❤❤

Thank you. I will get through it; I always do. But I really appreciate the offer. I am also available to PM if anyone needs to chat. Helping others is always a good way to get me out of my own head and to remember that I am not alone.

I hope you are feeling better

I live on my own and I identify very clearly the loneliness and the self isolation makes matters even worse

I miss my Mother who is overseas and the situation we are in makes me realise to value what we have

I also suffer from depression and anxiety and due to this the lack of self belief really stood me from studying as I have the exams marginally

Tired of exhaustion may be coming from over thinking or anxiety

This is my personal experience

I am very much on my own totally isolated and I would be pleased to talk to see how you manage every day

Thank you. It’s so important that we all understand we are not going through this alone. ❤️❤️❤️

Thanks so much HeronNS. Lovely, and reminded me of my Sacred Spirit CD (Chants and Dances of the Native Americans), which I haven't listened to for ages. Such deeply spiritual people with so many traditions including those of music and dance. Thanks so much for reminding me and now I know what I'll listen to, tonight.

Why does YouTube sometimes not work in HU?

Very industrious Jennymary. I had a fight with my oven, had to dump a newly made cake in the bin and started again, as well as baking a sour cream and cheddar cornbread. After that lot, I made sure dinner was very simple. I'm just about to have a virtual mother's day tea via facetime with my daughter and granddaughter. We've both baked, so there's sure to be some competition!

I've done very little apart from over eating, and the way things are going i soon wont get out the door when i end up looking like a whale.

i just cannot get motivated to do a thing, well, not exactly true as i did manage a bit of paperwork.

But cleaning and hoovering has fallen by the wayside.

Hi Secrets22, yes I'm finding it difficult to motivate myself, but my flat has needed dusting for longer than I care to say, I'm going finish the living room today, bedroom tomorrow which shouldn't take long as I don't have many ornaments in there, Wednesday possibly ironing, after that who knows, but I'm happy to post each day with what I've done and we can all have a virtual chat about our days, stay well xxx

Now now now whales are beautiful creatures.joking aside we could do bits of housework to music.I also feel while it's a dry sunny day which most of England is blessed with at moment we must grab it and spend time in the garden even if it's just raking up the leaves.I tried bit of weeding yesterday and my back killed every time tried to stand up so its baby steps with everything for me thou I do do some stretching exercises now n then.

Be kind to yourself. Keep posting..it keeps us contacted and sane and helps each other

It often says there's an error, although I can view it no problems on my own device, just not via HU. But maybe it's a browser issue. I don't want to post videos if they are not actually available for others to see. :)

Hi jennymary.

Today I braved a small step ladder to scrub the tops of the door without my glasses on.

Several rests and some cribbing later discovered the "dirt" I was scrubbing was actually bare wood where I had scrubbed the paintwork bare -oooops.

Other than that have tried to follow a beginner's crochet pattern which seems to have a lot of extra holes compared with the picture and more stitches than I should have together with a saggy shapeless lump in the middle.

One thing for sure it's definately an original.......!
