Hey, I'm exactly the same. Are you on any medication? It's really awful. I have a permanently foggy head too, makes driving awful. Have you got any guided relaxation apps on your phone? Try and do one each day xx

I was on mirtazapine, which I think made me worse after about 6 months (it did make me sleep really well which was great!). I've been having the dizzyness and blurred vision for just over a year, it can be really scary and makes your anxiety a million times worse doesn't it! I know the answer is to get as much rest and relaxation as possible as it's your brains way of telling you to slow down. However, I know this is practically impossible for most of us lol! I need to listen to my own advice too! Fit in some relaxation, have a look at mindful meditation and yoga (check out yoga with adriene on YouTube, she's great!). Also try some positive affirmations, we get in to a loop of doom and gloom with all the anxiety and dizzyness so you need to try and break the cycle. It sounds really silly but repeat a handful of positive phrases each day, such as "I'm always calm and relaxed", "I deserve the very best life has to offer", "I believe in myself". Also if you feel yourself focussing on feeling dizzy and anxious, shout at yourself to "shut up" (obviously do this in your head otherwise people might think you're mad haha). Hope you manage to relax soon xxx

Hey, I have CBT/NLP which has helped my anxiety but I still feel dizzy. I was on Mirtazapine for general anxiety disorder and insomnia. Currently on Venlaxafine which has helped with my anxiety attacks but feel pretty detached. Gah! Keep in touch and let me know how you get on. xxx

Hello

Has anything triggered off these additional symptoms ? I was plagued with similar physical symptoms with pni- blurred vision headaches this fogginess which made me feel constantly spaced out.

I would go back to drs - see a different one if u can - is that possible. You've been suffering from anxiety for a long time - have meds helped at all? It would be good to rule out physicsl symproms - anaemia and thyroid issues can trigger odd physical symptoms. Counselling can be really good - it's tough - but can help get to the root of the issues and deal with them as the anxiety triggers can become second nature in ur thought patterns. R there particular sources of ur stress and anxiety?

Meds really helped me but I found exercise a massive boost especially anything that gets ur heart racing as the endorphins released give u a boost and it burns off nervous energy. Yoga and breathing techniques can help hugely - u can find it on YouTube keep talking x

Maybe meds increase ? I do think seeing a Dr who will listen to you and take positive steps in helping u will make a huge difference x

Cbt is really good in combatting negative thoughts and anxiety . Lit teaches you how to rethink your thought patterns so they are not anxiety inducing as they thoughts have become automatic.

You WILL combat this - it can be tough but you will get through it. Do u know what caused this anxiety in the first place? Was it pni?

Things must be tough for you. Sounds like ur doing an amazing job. Do u have support from friends and family?

I think most pni mums suffer from guilt - but this is a cruel awful illness and we do so much in spite of being illx

Your kind words have helped a little thank you i have friends not much family support as i was brought up in the care system but im trying and thats all i can do x

Does ur child's dad help out? Being s single mum is hard work (I'm one too). It's good you have friends - do lean on them when u need to.

Really have hope - I know several ladies who have struggled with pni for a while - then found treatment that worked and it really turned their lives aroundx

Was going to add if online support helps also try pni.org.uk our forum - the ladies there are great and really understand x
