I bought these recently on that well known shopping site. Only £5.99 and you get two key ring tabs, two stickers (as you can see I put one on the back of my phone) and a wallet card. At least now there is a better chance of someone going looking for my medical information than just having a card in the wallet. I have multiple allergies along with PMR meds. It is hard to put in information on the wallet card as it’s shiny and not every pen will write on it but I got around that by sticking a white sticker on the back and writing on it instead . Thought some of you might find this of use . You can’t see it on the pic but the sticker on the back of my phone says “In emergency I carry a card”

The free steroid card is great but useless if nobody finds it. With the sticker on the phone and the key ring hopefully someone will look for the emergency details. My mother recently had a TIA and no one spotted her medical alert bracelet this sent me in search of a better solution. Hopefully I’ll never need it🤞
I was thinking that - and I asked my resident paramedic ages ago about it. She said bracelets would usually be found, pendants less so. And preferably not too pretty ones as they might get dismissed as mere jewellery.
I’m not suggesting it in place of either steroid card or bracelet, I have both but as an additional layer of alert. At £6 it’s a cheap safety net and I thought others might be interested. Im probably more likely to leave my head at home than my phone🤣. In my mother’s case they probably took pulse from other arm or the bracelet was caught up in her clothing. Who knows, she’s a wonderful 91 but can be hard to work out the facts at times
Which is sensible in emergency situations - emergency services do tend to look at them for contacts after accidents. But you can get separated from them all too easily!
I was not suggesting this as an alternative to a bracelet (I wear one myself) but as an addition to bring more attention to the fact that you need extra attention. For £5.99 you get two stickers (I just happen to put mine on the back of my phone, you can put them anywhere) two key rings and a card you can keep in your wallet. Anything that might bring attention to the fact that someone needs to go looking for more information can only be a good thing and at £5.99 its a cheap solution to getting someones attention.
