HELP! How to edit a post!

Big mistake in my post about PIP and Attendance Allowance!!!! Broseley picked it up In point 3 I say call the DHSS it should be DWP (Department of Work and Pensions). I've tried to edit the post.TWICE!!!! And failed. I clicked on edit and changed it then pressed post. FAIL. Thanks Broseley for checking. Tried again just clicking edit. FAIL again🤷. What I doing wrong.🤔. HELP PLEASE. And if anyone can change this error in point 3 please feel free to do so. Or just tell me what I'm doing wrong😏 Thanks All ❤️

The only other people who can do it are the admins - Fran and Candy. You have to have Special Powers

Look at RElated Posts and there is a post from MrsNails on How to Edit a Post - it varies depending on the device you are using - maybe you are missing something?

DLs advice worked...at least it said DWP last time I looked!!

This should do it -

To Edit a Reply

Under your Reply you will see an Option ‘More’

Select ‘More’ it shows 4 options -

Select ‘Edit will then take you to the original post page

Go through text and change what you need to then -

Select ‘Post’ at the bottom.

Not sure why you are having issues. Try again-and if still no go come back to us .

Perhaps it was just a glitch due to HU -sometimes happens.

If it accepts it -should say last edited by MamaBeagle - at bottom of post

Think I've done it, tried what you suggested and I've left the page and returned and it now days DWP. Thank you DL your a whizz❤️

I wouldn’t worry mama, most of us oldies/ senior citizens will know it was dhss 😂 not sure about the youngsters among us😂😂

Hi mama beagle, going back into past a bit! I applied for AA for mother, rang DHSS (DWP??)for forms in Nov then life took over! Upshot, didn't return them until way after given date, included explanation and apology, result! Mother has AA backdated to original date in Nov!! She is thrilled - many many thanks t to you 😊 ❤ xx
