TSH levels

I've just seen the results of my pre Zoledronic infusion blood tests. My TSH is 0.23, i.e. low, whilst my FT4 seems ok @ 19.2. Could there be a PMR link? (31 months and currently 2 mgs Pred). I was also surprised that in a year my Vit D level has decreased from 90 to 70, despite a daily 25ug supplement + K2. Winter? I'd be grateful for any comments from you wise ones- don't know what I'd do without you 😊

I ran into the VIt D and I was given 40,000 units for 4 weeks and then new test and 20,000units for 2 weeks. Level back to normal and since then on their advice take Vit D everyday. Vit D been stable since then.

Pred suppresses TSH - often confuses doctors.

Vit D is at its peak in September, at its lowest in the spring as the body has used the stores up while not making any from sun. 25mcg isn't a lot - only 1000 IU. I take 4000 IU and that keeps my vit D level stable, any less and over a long period is slowly goes down.

Thank you. Both points really useful.

As Pro says 1000 IU is low - I take 4000 daily.
