Thank you All

Thank you to all who have been so knowledgeable and kind through the past two years. Being an American, I only have one childhood friend living in the UK. As a successful tv producer she sure could produce quite the program from all our stories. A little spice could be added by what must be occasional frustration from Pmrpro, Mrs N, Poopadoop, SheffieldJane & so many others. You have made so many lives better and even saved lives. You are all very much appreciated here in America and I'm sure around the world.

Don’t forget our Viking Queen, DorsetLady, best to keep on the right side of her. 😂

OMG, DORSETLADY - Queen among queens - deserves a place of her own! Her unfailing dedication to each of us and always sage advice. Thank you so much. There are others I missed, but I'll blame prednisone. ❤

And Snazzy!

I do mean everyone 😁 Dorsetlady I do mean it. Your explanations are understandable and in depth. But I really can't win because I'm probably in trouble with Snazzy now. HeronN, Suzy? +++. But I have an excuse. Remember the only good thing about pmr/gca is that we can always blame anything and everything on prednisone. 😏

Yes we can blame the Pred (although some of us can’t any more!) - and everybody helps in their own way...by just being here.

Congrats to you and I have to “Second” your thank you to this site. I’m beginning my journey with PMR here in Florida and I would have been completely lost without the knowledge base on this site. I got in to see my Rheumy and GP this week and they were both very impressed with this site and support, especially the taper program(s). So far so good with my tapering and I now know what the withdrawals feel like compared to a flare which is great to know I’m now progressing “ slowly”.. I promise!!! 😁

That's great that you're doing better. Florida would feel so good. We're in upper midwest. Its snowing and cold.

Spanky, I agree with you 100 percent. I’m so grateful for the understanding and advice of all those you mentioned (there aren’t enough thank you’s in the world to suffice) and many others on this website who have made this crazy, lonely journey a bit easier. I so much appreciate the cordiality and care that accompany each reply. I’ve learned so much thanks to you—more than from my doctors and all the reading I’ve done. It’s been a spirit saver.

Such a crazy disease with so many twists and turns. So hard to know what's from illness, what are effects of medication or are many of things from aging process. Nice to have friends near and far to give us a hand. Have a great day!
