To save you watching the entire thing, skip to about 51 mins (almost at the end) which is where she talks about the vaccines and how we should have them. She also comments about what she basically describes as misinformation on the BBC!

She also has a very interesting bit in the Q&A about screens and dry eyes:

When we blink the upward movement of the upper eyelid drags tear film across the surface of the eye - this minimises glare and blurriness. When we are using screens of any sort we tend not to blink fully or as effectively so the redistribution of the tear film is not as good. In healthy eyes the effect it lasts 10 seconds but in someone with dry eyes for any reason it is more like 3 seconds. So the short duration and poor blinking technique causes blurriness and glare. If we consciously blink hard it is better,

Thanks for this. Reassuring about the vaccines. Also found the food intolerance answers at the end quite useful

Yes very clear. Found the answers about general ‘dryness’ affecting food transit etc very interesting too

Thanks, I fast forwarded to bit about vaccine- good advice - and disputed adverse comments from David Salisbury on BBC - although didn’t name him! Would recommend others listen in.

Thank you for this most interesting link. I listened to the whole link because I suffer vert badly from Sjogren’s. The extra information about the vaccines was also most helpful.

Having listened to her Q&A I might try to find time to listen to the rest - was very impressed.

My dry eye clinic suggested putting a sticky note on screen edge, saying 'blink'. Surprising what a difference it makes. I don't do it on the phone though.

Oops. I see you are going into Red Zone on Sunday (S Tyrol). Smart move. What do you think?

Rome says so - the autonomous government says not ... We'll see.

There are places with worse figures than us who are still yellow! We are testing vast numbers now (7500 yesterday alone in a region of half a million people) - and so our numbers look bad. The hospitals are fine still - about a third of ICU beds occupied. It is a concern that the numbers aren't falling but this will be end of the xmas and NY bulge.
