Covid Vaccine Jab and PMR

I had my first vaccnination for the Covid on Saturday and felt no ill side affects. I have been on Prednesalone for PMR since June, started on 30 mg and now on 7 mg. I am happy to wait for my next one, I just feel that it is only right that more people get it. I even got it before my Mom who is 89 and I am 55 but that is because I work in a care home. I feel very positive about it and still doing everything I can to protect myself and others. It will be a slow path but I still think it will take us out of it eventually.

Really happy for you. Amazing job you do.

I’m very happy for people working in care homes, for nhs, and in schools (and some others) to get a vaccination before me. Staying at home is hard but for me is a very minor sacrifice.
