Hi I have had PMR for nearly six years and after a rocky road am down to 1/2mg successfully. I have been on that dose for a week now. I will stay on for another week and then I will begin the dead slow method down to zero.
I am so nervous but excited at the same time. Please all keep your fingers crossed for me. I can't believe I may have reached the end of the very dark tunnel at long last.
Thank you, Jenny x

Oh! We're all rooting for you and dreaming that we may be there someday! Your time line of 6 years would bear out the "median" time for experiencing PMR - 5.9 years?
This is so exciting! On the day I came off pred and omneprazole I gathered up all my boxes of pills and asked my OH to take a photo. In my excitement I forgot he has a shaky arm: so you can imagine how the photos came out. The only good one had my head missing!
Thank you all so much for your kind wishes. I don't know what I would have done without you all. Even if the PMR has gone I will still drop into the Forum occasionally,it has been my lifeline really.
