How...??

Every so often I see where someone has 'saved' a post. I would love to save some of these 'pearls' since I cannot always find them...or remember who spoke those words of wisdom.

How do you 'save' a post~👀

Just tap the Save Post button.

You will get notification of any replies.

You can look at people’s old posts by clicking on their name in a thread or doing a search for them - though that’s not always reliable. I thought Bee had disappeared but she’s poorly. So if you have an inkling of who advises on certain things like DorsetLady on GCA and Mrs Nails on Methotrexate and PMRPro on the encyclopaedia of science then you can look for old posts.

See new Post on how to find 'Saved Posts'

I have never noticed that button before! Once a post is saved, how do you find it again? (apart from scrolling through all the posts)

Don’t think there’s a easy option.

The facility used to be “follow post”, but changed its name - don’t know that it does anything other than advise you when there is any response to it.

But it would make sense if you could access easily.- but I suspect it’s all too difficult.

Ah.... that explains why I haven't noticed the save post button before! Thank you.

....that sounds like it could be an awful lot~~~

Go to your Home Page 🏠 (it’s a House Icon) & it’ll say ‘News Feed’ or ‘Saved Posts’, Select & they’ll be there.......

That's just the home button, I don't think it makes one iota of difference to what I see there whether I've "saved" or not saved a post. Does it? I hardly ever remember to save posts.

In fact all posts are saved, if you don’t press the saved button it just means you will not be updated with any future posts against that item. However if you happen to look at any items for a particular person or topic, the information will all be there, it does not go away.

I have got to say the old follow post and save post have saved me time trying to remember the poster or a keyword from their message. It's useful if someone posts a link. Your memory just has to drag up that it's a saved post. Then, as long as you don't save loads, it is easy to find.
