Any ideas on heart related problems and Prednisone?

Just went thru a terrible episode last night of cramp in jaw, odd pain on chest and around the back. Was pretty intense. We waited it out (foolishly?) and decided it was an esophageal problem. Took antacids and within the hour it cleared. This morning it is ok although, am more tired than usual.

Anyone have any info on taking prednisone and heart problems? Really couldn't find anything definitive.

Please don't ever take chest pain that radiates into the jaw lightly. Call the emergency services and get an ECG done. If it wasn't cardiac that's fine - if it was, it may save your life.

Please dont ignore it

End of May I had a heart attack no warning signs apart for some indigestion on and of for a week and pain going up into the jaw and teeth now and then .

I had seen Doctor about both of these concerns

The day it happened I had no chest pain just a very rapid Heart beat .

If it is your heart the sooner thay do blood test and begin treatment the better .

I was lucky had Angiogram done but no stents just loads of medication .
