Hi all. Having spent 3.5 weeks on huge steroids for flares in hospital, I have now been given just under 3 weeks in a rehab unit as lost tons of mobility. It is a great place calm and supportive. They will assess me and look to making adjustments in my home. Aim is to get me independent on a frame in my flat. Stairs follow. I still feel my GCA and am still on the chemo cyclo regime. Very weak and not sleeping well. But hopeful. Not the summer I hoped for. Still on 40 pred orally daily. Getting the blood level markers down has wiped me out.

Chemo cyclo is affecting my stomach loads. Reflux, cramps and no movement. Other side effects too. Calmer now but uncomfortable and still concerned. But the rehab is bright and airy and like chalk and cheese to the hospital. With love.

It sounds like you are in the right place - you make it sound lovely. I suppose your job is to patiently allow yourself to recover now. Sending you a gentle hug and wishes for a steady recovery.. 🌸🌺💕

Add perching stool - they are great.

Stairs................in case you don't know ..........you can hire the stair lifts, if they do not supply you with one.

Keep in touch.............you are getting there................

Hi bfp1, it's so much better in an environment you like and are calm and comfortable. Let's hope you get great benefits there. 🌻
