Thank you. I see its based on mindfulness which i did an eight week course on in the spring but i haven't kept the practice up. Ive just bought the Kindle edition, I hope I'll find it helpful

Thanks for recommending this. I managed to find a second hand copy on e-bay and have found it very useful.

It took me a while to really start reading this but I'm finding it helpful. I did a mindfulness course in the early spring and there are monthly sessions in our local village for people who have done the course but I let the practice slip and for some reason have resisted taking it up again or gone to any of the follow up sessions. In the same way when I started on this book I resisted it. It seems like an act of self sabotage. I did overcome the resistance when I recognised what was happening. I'm now a third of the way through. I listened to a mindfulness track on the internet this afternoon and have also realised I need to be much kinder to myself.

The course I did was one developed at Bangor University and this is a link to their website with the tracks on

I hope I've typed it right, I didn't seem to be able to paste it in here
