Now I am really confused .

I thought Polywotsit was the half cousin of Pollyanna!

And Polything the deranged elder brother that they kept locked up in the attic!!😂😂😂

PMR brain fog is clearly getting the better of me😝😵😵

Big hugs , Bee xx

Dear Bee,

What about, that Funny Bloke PollyFella? Or the especially Beautiful PollyAnna, not forgetting, that Geometry Manufacture PollyStyreen. Or the girl, who works at the Avery PreetiePolly. Anyway that's quite enough, of that, much more and I'll be 'Doing Bird'!

Kindest Wishes

Yes, 'Polywotsit' was coined at the same time as 'Giantthingy',

I'm just grateful that they don't use the original name any more. 'Senile rheumatic gout' sounds 10 times worse than PMR.

It certainly does and wouldn't gain any sympathy. Thank you for the giggle.

PMR is better received than when I had pedunculated fibroids....that just sounded funny and made people giggle!

I'd never heard of those so just Googled it and really they sound very unpleasant, however amusing the name...

😨😨😨 argh!! At my age GCA/PMR is bad enough , senile rheumatic gout !! If I heard that even I would lose my sense of humour.

Think the original patients were all male ...

Ah!! Yes the good old days , when women sufferers were " so rare" nobody bothered to check for them and the men all had handlebar moustaches , pipes , ear trumpets and got wheeled around in bath chairs with one giant foot bandage.😂😂😂

Wonderful image! I suppose the women were all crippled old grannies who were still expected to do all the housework...

Still Polywaddling with their Polywotsit in their polyaprons no doubt! 😋😂😂

As I've said before I don't think I would ever admit to having something called that....

Have you mastered the poly-waddle yet?

Blearyeyed profile image
Blearyeyed in reply to scats

I have renamed it the " hopeful waddle " or the " prance for a piddle" if I try to be gorgeous like suggested on Daisychain recent post. 😘

How dare you come in and re -name things! I think poly-waddle was one of Uncle Marks terms (I'm not sure, it was here before I was) so you had better watch out or his new mutated "teddy" will be after you

Blearyeyed profile image
Blearyeyed in reply to scats

I have only renamed it for personal use so I think Uncle might let me off and keep Tedski wrapped up warm from the snow😋😁

I have fibromyalgia too so sometimes I'm tempted to say multimyalgia. Ive ocassionaly found myself on the verge of saying pyromyalgia, closely related to pyromania.
