Feeling dizzy

I started Pred on the 2nd Oct and have beennok on it but today got up quite late, and feel really dizzy. Is this normal for Pred or is it because I have taken it later than usual? I am at least two hours later than normal!

Dizziness is definitely one of Pred’s early gifts. It may well be because you took it later, but perhaps you are just really tired. Hope you feel better soon, take it easy.

I agree wuth SJ - can be a very unpleasant side effect of Pred (I found it awful - if only brief) and probably just this rather than the 2 hour factor. It is quite important to be regular with time and taking Pred as your body will 'expect' it and it can vary in the amount of time it 'lasts' in your system - but you usually have some 'latitude' ...

Best wishes

I haven’t had more than 3 hours sleep a night for months now so sleeping late was unusual and thankfully the dizziness wore off after a few hours, but it was a very odd sensation. Thanks for the advice
