Greetings All-ski, wherever you are in this big and increasingly complex world. I hope you are as well as can be, in our often challenging PMR / GCA context..
On the Positive Side here, it’s been an exciting few weeks. I’m like ‘YAY’! Marauding around the place like a dog with two tails, full of energy, up to my usual mischief, and plotting and planning New and Exciting projects after a Big Day Out in London to meet You Lot at the PMRGCAuk Members’ Day on 8 September. It all seems like a dream - maybe it was? But that’s enough about me (i.e. Tedski).
As for the equally inscrutable MB..?
Ok, The Boss privately admits “Confession Time”. After feeling so GOOD recently, he’s been limping around pathetically with a strained Achilles Tendon after dragging me and a suitcase full of 5000 of his silly books around The Smoke (for those of you overseas - London UK) in a futile effort to impress You Lot with his (alleged) wit and charm during his talk. And.. to flog a few books in the process for which he is highly chuffed - not least because the Charity benefits too.
But 3 weeks later, and despite hobbling around like a Right Old Geezer most of the time, he’s managed to do quite a bit including: the single handed Maritime Rescue of Benjamin Mansions from the wrath of the recent northerly drifting Atlantic storms (not to mention the prospect of us both having to adopt a new Scottish nationality, 'the noo'), repatriating us to sunny WSM, and doing a tad of house painting for his Twister in between all of the recent excitement.
When I say ‘tad’, I mean the whole blinking house. All 6 sides in fact - I watched him whilst having a beer or two (ok, three). He just doesn’t seem to have a ‘Stop’ button.
Oh well… that’s MB for you, for better or worse. Maybe he’s ‘recovered’ from his 3-ish years of battling with PMR (if that’s possible)? And, now surviving at nudging Pred Club Zero for a month with virtually no ill-effects, he’s almost back to his irrepressible old self - or even more so? Heaven help us…
Now, just to clear-up a few misunderstandings here:
I know that a few of you don’t take Uncle MB (The Boss) very seriously - if at all. Yes, he rants-on about my allegedly mysterious past, my predilection for chasing WSM seaside donkeys, and my ‘borrowing’ his treasured Limo to name but a few of my character flaws (I call them hobbies). He alludes to the fact (?) that I regularly binge on Boeuf Stroganoff and consume vast quantities of Vodka.
To make matters worse, MB has even suggested that I am a figment of the wildly distorted imagination of a few of You Lot who are ravaged by PMR (or GCA - potentially far more serious, I know), Pred Head, Brain Fog and Roid Rage, simply suffering from terminal Bonkers-ness (or all of these in combination?).
But, despite the above, I implore you to: PLEASE, TAKE MB SERIOUSLY! To my knowledge, he is not known for Fake Noozing, Schmoozing, Redacting, Recudifying or, er, any other fancy and / or ambiguous legally explosive term ending with ‘ing’. He is in fact a Clean Living and Decent Guy who loves People (children included - so long as they are house trained - ha ha), Animals, Nature, Re-cycling, Broccoli, the BBC, and all GOOD Things. He doesn’t like or support BAD People or Things. Like all True Leaders, he is, er.. um.. (sorry I’ll have to get back to you on that one).
With that, I must leave you and ask The Boss / aka Uncle MB to proof-read, edit, re-edit and approve this Post with the oversight of his Lawyers since he keeps his log-in details secretly guarded day and night. He’s a stickler for detail and so I must keep on the right side of him. My job and my future depend on it. Fingers crossed and we'll see...

p.s. Don't think that MB's 'recovery' from PMR will mean that he will abandon You Lot and this community after our shared Journey and so much Fun both ways. We have much journey travelled after all. More to come... if you're not careful
