There and back a hubbies tale!

Well the other day I decided that I'd take SWMBO to go and see our daughter in uni.

Me being me I didn't say anything to her. My son was primed to look after the dog and daughter was expecting us around noon.

Last night as I went to bed I told her she needed to be ready to leave at 9 this morning and went to bed.

All up and ready to go, where are we going asked so many times between Pontypridd and Llangurig. At one point it was the Hay festival and then the Urdd in Builth Wells.

I'm bad with my "yes dear" answers :)

2.5 hour drive up and a couple of ours with Kirsten, most of her gear in the back of the car and another 2.5 hour drive home.

Tired now after all that driving and the first time for a while I've managed it :)

And to top it off a few brownie points for a nice surprise day out.
