Thank you all again for helping me out. Really appreciated.

I will try & follow up all the leads you have provided on reports stating that PMR can cause pain in hands and feet. What a fun weekend reading list!

It seems to be such a common misconception with consultants, that PMR is strictly limited only to certain areas of the body. Whether its this, or medication, or tapering issues, the last thing I need is to have to battle with someone who is meant to be there to help me. I've already got a war zone in my own poor body.

Hey Ho.

At least the sun is shining today. Makes everything a little better. Sunshine - medicine for the soul.

Thanks again all. Have a good weekend.

As I said somewhere else a few mins ago - many doctors go by the list of symptoms they see in the literature but they were created as inclusion/exclusion criteria for studies (does this patient have PMR or not?). They do not cover the full range of symptoms experienced in association with PMR by a large population of patients.
