Something to smile about on a snowy day ?

Excellent Medical Advice - NOT :-)

I do not understand why prescription medicine is allowed to advertise on TV

or why anyone would think of trying one of the medicines after

listening to the laundry list of warnings of possible side effects.:-(

But this is definitely an exception!

Do you have feelings of inadequacy?

Do you suffer from shyness?

Do you sometimes wish you were more assertive?

Do you sometimes feel stressed?

If you answered yes to any of these questions,

ask your doctor or pharmacist about Cabernet Sauvignon.

Cabernet Sauvignon is the safe, natural way to feel better and more confident.

It can help ease you out of your shyness and let you tell the world

that you are ready and willing to do just about anything.

You will notice the benefits of Cabernet Sauvignon almost immediately,

and, with a regimen of regular doses,

you will overcome obstacles that prevent you from living the life you want.

Shyness and awkwardness will be a thing of the past.

You will discover talents you never knew you had..:-)

Cabernet Sauvignon may not be right for everyone.

Women who are pregnant or nursing should not use it

but women who would not mind nursing or becoming pregnant are encouraged to try it.

Side effects may include:

dizziness, nausea, vomiting, incarceration, loss of motor control,

loss of clothing, loss of money, delusions of grandeur, table dancing,

headache, dehydration, dry mouth and a desire to sing Karaoke

and play all-night Strip Poker, Truth Or Dare and Naked Twister.

Warnings:

The consumption of Cabernet Sauvignon

may make you think you are whispering when you are not.

The consumption of Cabernet Sauvignon may cause you to tell

your friends over and over again that you love them.

The consumption of Cabernet Sauvignon may cause you to think you can sing.

The consumption of Cabernet Sauvignon may create the illusion

that you are tougher, smarter, faster and better looking than most people.

The above is not my work, but because a fellow sufferer sent it to me, I thought I would pass it on. :-)

Pete :-)

Oban is the place to be today. We have sunshine and no snow but it still made me smile. I wonder if Merlot would be a good substitute!

in reply to allykat

Always worth a try :-)

Keep warm and enjoy the sunshine :-)

I can confirm, due to years of scientific, intense research, that Merlot offers equivalent effects and similar side effects. Table dancing has not been a side effect of Merlot in my research. Table dancing can be achieved with Rum if that effect is sought/desirable, although research was not absolute as to whether it was rum or being in Barbados or both that enhanced this effect.

I’m so pleased that my research has at long last proved valuable.

;)

Love it, obviously worthy research 🤗

It’s been a lifetime’s work Hidden hard work at times, but I’ve been dedicated.

The side effect you don’t mention is amnesia. This can hinder research, but I have found that discussion with drinking companions can very easily elicit the missing information. On occasion I have felt that the retelling can be a little exaggerated, but multiple witness interrogations can’t all be wrong. These witnesses are strangely very willing to fill in the lost memories, and tell others as well as the ‘researcher’, which isn’t necessarily helpful or required.

in reply to Soraya_PMR

I'll drink to that 🤣

What was that you just wrote, must be amnesia 😵

Cheers Pete. Lots of ticks on that list!

Yes I agree :-)

Keep smiling :-)

Great,

But early though...even for me! But as I’m not going to be driving anywhere today who knows....🍷🍾

in reply to DorsetLady

Yes, much too early, l wonder if a glass of Port would would be too extreme on a day like this. I expect NZ is becoming a distant memory by now. 😍

Unfortunately it is!

Haven't got Port, but maybe a medicinal Brandy?

Son who lives in Peak District rang this morning with strict instructions not to venture out for next couple of days. His normally 90 minute journey home from Liverpool last evening took 5 hours -he reckons if he'd left it any later it would have meant a night on the motorway! He's got winter tyres and 4 wheel drive so he wasn't worried about himself, but the vehicles that haven't were getting stuck. He's at home today ...digging out .. and then no doubt sledging and making snowmen with the kids!

Steady snow now in Dorset, just had shopping delivered so settling down to a cosy afternoon with a book and a Br......maybe

Keep safe.

in reply to DorsetLady

Probably the worst snow for years. Hope he can keep worn now.

Brandy sounds a good idea, but steady on it could be addictive 😉🤣

don't worry...I know my limits!....it's just sticking to them that's the problem.
