Hi Everyone, hope all are o.k. and stealing with of these inflammatory diseases.

I just had a total hip replacement, right and am now in a good rehab in Westchester.

Within 5 days of the operation, the Meralgia Paresthetica ( lateral femoral cutaneous nerve wrongly -- and painfully) attaches to the inguinal tendon) became very active, thigh muscles in spasm.

Phys therapists have been very good at Burke Rehab, trying to design the therapy so that the quadriceps muscles can reattach and heal without involving, compressing the inquineal tendon -- cutaneous nerve attachment. Very difficult.

Even lifting the leg, part of traditional hip therapy -- can activate the MP.

Getting there, but difficult. All 5 braches of the femoral cutaneous nerve are entrapped by the tendon. Have had 2 exacerbations. but with massage therapy, the spasms are down. Very good people here.

Getting there. Mobility soon -- how I see it.

Wishing everyone, less swelling, less pain

All my best, Whittlesey

Glad you are in good hands, but I confess I don't understand any of the medical terminology.

Hi, I have MP following a caesarean section 20 years ago. My outer thigh has been numb for the last 20 years until the last few years when it suddenly started coming back to life (that how I see it), with what I describe as being stabbed with a boiling hot knife. I’m wondering if it’ll ever just go away! Thigh is still numb. X
