Parker and his New Game

A couple of weeks ago I had a sore throat. I haven't had a sore throat in years since I had me tonsils out as a kid. Thanks to steroids I have now got another poorly part causing me aggravation and discomfort of the same strain as the sore throat. I tend to get a bit miserable and grumpy when this happens but don't let it show as I might upset the staff.

Parker is very good at picking up on these things. I don't know how he does it? Sometimes I think he is Psychic.

To lift my mood Parker has a new game called "Do You Know What It Is Yet".

When he gets a break at the hobby job he goes to when not minding me, he will send a picture of an object I am not familiar with. I then have to guess what it is and he will send other pictures with clues to help me. This goes on till I figure it out, give up or he has to go back to work. By the time we are done I have emerged from my sulk, found a cure for my (quite minor) poorly and put things in to perspective.

Of course this is not just one sided. Parker knows he can return home and the Grumpy Troll Monster has left the house leaving an atmosphere of peace and serenity.

I have included yesterday's picture for your amusement if you're interested.

My poorly is almost cured (as I knew it would be) and I await the next annoying inconvenience to pop up and blight my day.

Um, a tool Parker uses to create his ice sculptures shortly before hewing off a bit to plink into your cocktail or throat gargle.

😍 love it better than the real answer. I will now commission Parker to do an Ice Sculpture with his multi tool.

Let's see... The comb Parker has set aside to de-tangle her hair if ever the Grumpy Troll Monster has a really seriously hissy fit? Cunning how he's managed to combine it with a spatula to help Lady P apply her make up if required. I hope for your sake that Parker just sticks to chiropody...

Great ideas must hide them from Parker. You use it inside or outside the house. Probably need a ladder too.

Love your experiences with Parker ! Unfortunately read the answer before reading this post - a bit like reading the end of a book prematurely!

Would you have got it though?

No I wouldn't have got it! I'm with the piece of wood/ stick people!!

I did too but I would not have guessed what it was. What happened to an old bit of wood? The standard go to for paint stirring! 😄😄

Deforestation 🤔

We burned all the wood to fuel the machines to make plastic gadgets. Mad isn't it. I don't really know why Parker didn't just use a stick. He is a man of simple pleasures and cheap to run so buying a gadget is a bit weird more so for him.

The bit of stick wouldn't have a hook to hang in on the side of the tin. I suppose the holes improve the mixing? Is it multi-purpose? Is it for tile adhesive too - the comb bit?

You must think like Parker. It's a good back scratcher too. He also used it as a temporary fix for the carpet that had come away from the grippy thing between the door and floor to pokei it back well worth a quid.
