Do you know a good Rheumy in Chessington Area?

Hi All, my sister in law is looking for a Rheumy. We think she has PMR. She has had all the usual exploration tests for arthritis etc, all of which are negative. Now her doc is saying sciatica and has fobbed her off with stronger pain killers. She has classic signs of PMR so I am advocating she sees a Rheumy. She lives in Chessington. Any recommendations? Happy to go private for initial diagnosis consultation. Thanks.

Hi Marilyn. As PMRpro says. I can highly recommend Dr Rod Hughes in Chertsey - works out of St Peter's and the Runnymede. I am lucky enough to have him as my rheumatologist and he is wonderful. His PA is called Jody Evans and I can give you her contact details at the Runnymede if you like.

My Rheumy is Dr Patel at Epsom (does one day there) or St Helier - seems fine to me...
