Thank you granny-b for posting the link to the Sunday Express re the trial on the tocilizumab. I have just read it and found it very interesting. I wish the lady being trialled was a member of this Forum as I and I am sure many more would like to follow her recovery and how she is going on.

There is someone who is on this forum (Tj2017) who is just starting the treatment. I hope they might tell us how it goes. Fingers and everything else crossed that it is a really positive step in treatment.

There are several people on the forum on Actemra and they post regularly - they are all in the USA though I think. There is a lady in Australia on another forum, FlipDover on the patient.info PMRGCA forum, who writes about her journey with ACtemra for probable PMR.

is a long thread where they discuss their experiences but if you put actemra in the "Search PMRGCAuk" box at the top right of the page you will get a list of all the posts talking about it.
