A FBC counts how many blood cells there are in a given volume of blood, both red and white cells. There is a whole range of different white cells. They make a smear on a slide and someone counts the different sorts by looking down a microscope at them. Neutrophils are a sort of white cells and the figure means that 8.4% of all your white cells are neutrophils. Pred tends to increase the number of neutrophils and the figure varies quite a lot from day to day. The range is 1.8 to 7.5% - so yours are slightly higher but that is OK. Your total white cell count is probably also at the top of the range.
