I have been told that taking Rose Hip tablets may be good for PMR

Anybody tried them, what results ??

I'd rather have the syrup as I remember it as being delicious. It was one of the things late war babies like me were given post-war - along with the not-so-delicious cod liver oil.

High levels of vitamin C I believe and now very expensive. I think that ordinary Vit C could probably do the same job and be a bit lighter on the pocket.

The answer from a highly recommended source is that rose hip can be beneficial for arthritis but of little use in PMR. The source is a consultant rheumy par excellence as far as PMR/GCA is concerned, and who has carried out research into rose hips for arthritis.
