Rheumatologist in Devon please!

Why not contact one of the support groups down the west country and ask them?

There are always people who don't come on the forums who do go to support groups.

Hello Isabella 2015. I'm in Devon and go to 2/3 support groups. The nearest group where lots of info. Is available is Taunton, we have a new group in Teignmouth but it hasn't got off the ground yet, the next meeting is in January. Because there isn't any other group in Devon that I know of I am going to the Vasculitis group in January.

Sorry forgot to say I just see my GP and have never seen a Rheumy. I have had GCA for 2 years.

There are 2 that work at the R D & E and at the Nuffield namely Dr M Brown & Dr R Mascarenhas.

I'd love to know what you think of the doc, surprising how many really don't know much about it. Where are you? A lady called trish is holpeing to start. A support group in Shaldon which sounds like a great idea. Thank you look forward to hearing how your appointment went. Best wishes,

I live in Budleigh Salterton and I see Dr Haigh the Rheumatologist at the RD&E he is very good. I like him as a Dr. Good luck.

Epimondas, thank you so much when I return from Spain in January will try for an appointment with him, actually just changed gps as I have just been diagnosed with diabetes type 2 so have moved to the doc that specialises in that and actually he seems to be quite knowledgeable about PMR!! THankyou again, my best wishes and hope everything is getting better and better for you.
