I have been put on a reduction plan by Dr,having had a flare after getting down to 17.5mg after really bad headaches my Dr told me to go to go to 60mg 1 week 50mg 1 week 40mg 1 week 35mg 1 week then reduce slower .Can anybody out there give me some guidance on reduction thats safe to get to next level?

Hi denny-g,
If it were me, I'd be inclined to stay at 35mg for longer than a week, just to make sure that your symptoms are okay. It usually takes longer than that for them to appear again, if they are going to. Try 2 weeks, or even 3 if you're not 100% sure.
Then reduce by 2.5mg down to about 25mg still assuming everything okay, so that means staying at each level for longer than a week - I did a month at each drop at those levels. If you're doing an "overnight" drop then you may get withdrawal symptoms for a few days after new dose, but they should go after 4 or 5 days.
Once you get to 25mg successfully we can look at it again.
